Primary photos of Still lifes

 These are primary observations of Still life's which correspond towards the dolls being as most of these items date back to when the dolls where made. 

Process of creating spray paint 3D hot glue stencils/mono-types

 The following primary imagery shows a clear step by step short process of using the hot glue stencils or mono-types. Firstly I gathered all the needed materials and mediums, then I stuck down an A4 acrylic paper which I then proceed to spray with multi-purpose adhesive spray which made the paper tacky and firmly pressed down the stencils and once stuck to the paper I then sprayed over the stencils to express the value of dark tones and light tones.

 Within the project, I started to develop the idea of making 3-dimensional stencils that are both flimsy and held rather intricate structural lines. With all my drawings and illustrations involved in the attire of my project I observe from primary photo angles so using tracing paper and a light source ( being my laptop's screen on the brightest I could get it ) I first traced out the features of the face and added random thick and thin lines using a sharpie. I used two types of glue guns, one fro Wilkonsons and the other from the Works which require small glue supplies and larger supplies. I then using the silicone mat and the tracing I made I simply followed the lines sometimes extending them to overlap and other times just to add more perspective. These pieces will then be tested using arrange of wet mediums which will add as a texture as well as giving the stencil a rough edge feel.

Drawings of the summer project the dolls.

These drawings/illustrations are the summer project that I have been working with since finishing last year, I wanted to explore the mediums and the textures of the dolls further being an I was very intrigued by the exhibition itself. It also got me closer to my great grandmother who likes me she collects arrange of dolls and calls them her 'pretty family' so she started to allow me to draw some of her dolls, in total she collected 50! I then started to think what else could express my ongoing theme so that's when I started to gather images of the objects that my family owns.
